My name is Reece Stallman, and I am the newest addition to the K2 & Co team! I’m incredibly thrilled to be working on the events team and can’t wait for a great semester. I’m currently a senior at the University of Minnesota studying finance and economics. After graduation, I plan on pursuing a job in either public relations, politics, or finance.
Working on events is a passion I developed as part of my on-campus job helping student groups, faculty, and university guests book spaces and organize whatever they wanted to host. I’ve helped groups put together everything from small introductory club meetings to assisting with university graduation. Right away, I knew this was going to be a career I enjoyed when I received my first email back from a student group saying their event had been a huge success.
Prior to joining the K2 team, I interned for Majority Whip and Minnesota Congressional District 6 Representative Tom Emmer in Washington, DC. From corresponding with constituents, giving tours, and learning more about the inner workings of Congress, I’m truly grateful for that opportunity. My passion for politics began on Jim Schultz’s campaign for Minnesota Attorney General where I gained insights into how campaigns work, made amazing connections with remarkable people, and learned the power of rallying people to make a difference.
I could not be more excited to start my position with K2 and Co. I can’t wait to engage with non-profits from across various industries. I know that this opportunity will push my current knowledge of public affairs, event planning, and organizational skills to new heights, allowing me to gain invaluable hands-on experience. I’m looking forward to creating memorable and impactful events while contributing to the success of K2!
