My name is Katie Bohm, and I am so excited to join K2 as their newest Communications Intern. I’ve always had a passion for politics and community outreach, so this position will grant me the perfect opportunity to work with my interests.

Leading up to my position at K2, I have been involved with multiple political campaigns. I volunteered with two separate State Representative campaigns in two different districts, along with a State Senate campaign. This experience included meeting with the candidates, sharing ideas, attending events, and community outreach. In 2020, I interned for a presidential campaign. During this time, I participated in cold-calling, door-knocking and attending events. I gained valuable experience working with these campaigns, which further contributed to my passion for politics.

I am currently a senior at Minnesota State University-Mankato studying Business Management, as well as Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and recently received a certificate from the Integrated Business Experience program. I’ve attained many essential skills in my time at MSU, which I am excited to utilize for this internship and the tasks I will soon endure. While on campus, I like to attend TPUSA meetings where I have volunteered for several years.

When I am not attending school, studying or working, I like to spend my time crocheting, playing with my pug, June, baking, and hanging with friends and family. I also am a sucker for anything shopping related!

Again I say, I am beyond excited for this new position and what it has in store for me. I cannot wait to become a part of the K2 & Company family!
