My name is Jessica and I am thrilled to join K2 & Company as an intern. I will be helping with social media content for a variety of clients. Additionally, I will help our clientele expand their reach and advance their public image.
I was born and raised in the Minnesota Twin Cities suburbs, where I was homeschooled through my sophomore year of high school. After that, I started early college at the University of Northwestern St. Paul. I began to pursue public relations once I graduated high school.
Throughout middle school and high school, I invested most of my time in dance. I did ballet, pointe, modern, contemporary, jazz, and musical theater along with student teaching. Now, I teach five of my own classes and I love investing in my students! This part-time opportunity has blessed me with wonderful relationships and a way to stay connected in the dance world.
I still perform with a company every February. It is small, but I love the opportunity to be onstage even after graduating from my regular program. Dancing fulfills me and helps me expand my creativity.
When I am not working or dancing, I am most likely at Starbucks or the mall. I enjoy being with friends and family as well, especially spending time at my grandma’s farm. Animals, fashion, a good restaurant, and country music are just a few things that always bring me joy.
