I’m so excited to be able to share that I have officially joined the K2 & Co. team! For the past decade, I’ve been fortunate to work with various non-profits planning events that support fundraising efforts in my community. I look forward to sharing my event planning skills with various organizations to help take their events to the next level!
I love that event planning offers endless variety, ensuring that no two days are alike. This constant learning keeps me organized and prepared for any surprises that may arise during an event. Being able to adapt and stay organized sets the stage for success.
To stay current with trends, I attend local events in the Twin Cities area and network with industry professionals, keeping my finger on the pulse of emerging ideas and concepts. Social media platforms are also valuable resources for staying updated on the latest trends. I find inspiration by following event planners of celebrities on instagram, as their photos offer valuable insights into even the smallest event details that I can adapt and implement.
I am a Minnesota girl through and through. I was born and raised in southeast Minnesota including spending time in both Winona and Kasson. After earning a bachelor of arts degree in public relations and a minor in business administration from Saint Mary’s University, I gained valuable experience through an internship at the Arthritis Foundation, where I planned their State Fair booth. Subsequent positions at Thrivent Financial, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance further honed my event planning skills and more. Outside of my career being an active volunteer has been an important aspect of my life.
I live in Northeast Minneapolis with my husband Jeff, our two boys Warren and Henry, and our dog Dexter. We love the vibrant community and the endless opportunities it offers!
