My name is Alex Saunders, and I am thrilled to be the newest addition to the K2 & Company team as an Account Executive.
I grew up just north of Madison, Wisconsin in the town of DeForest before going on to graduate from UW-Milwaukee with a B.A. in History.
I’ve spent the majority of my adult life operating in the political field. I received my start as a canvassing intern in Wisconsin before spending the next eight years traveling to Wisconsin, Florida, Massachusetts, Virginia, and Washington D.C. In Wisconsin and Massachusetts, I worked on federal campaigns as a Regional Field Director and a Deputy Political Director. The last few years I’ve spent working at a D.C.- based political research organization as a Media Analyst and a Research Analyst.
My most recent experience revolved around rapid response media monitoring and policy research, with a focus on candidate accountability. Whether it was attending press conferences, tracking legislation, watching hours of interviews, building communication strategies, or doing deep dive research projects, I was constantly involved in my passion for politics on the local, state, and federal levels.
In my free time I love playing airsoft, playing board games, and playing with my cat.
In 2023, I returned to the Midwest from D.C. to get married and start the next step in my life. Now, I’m excited to join the incredible team at K2 & Co. I look forward to helping our clients thrive and supporting the K2 family going forward.
